April 22nd Recap

Our top two teams, No Wave Hookers and Team Sparks, battled to the end, and for the first time ever, the winning team was determined by their knowledge of the background theme earlier than the other. After four rounds, the Hookers held a half-point lead; however, Team Sparks got an extra point for guessing the background theme a round before the Hookers.

The background theme this week, inspired by my/Glenn's birthday the day before, was all vocalists born in 1967. To make it easier for the contestants, an extra clue about the background theme was given after each round. Similarly, the audio round included all songs with 'birthday' in the title.

The other rounds this week included a round of questions dedicated to Indie Rock and contributed by guest particpant Jeb Marlowe. Phil offered up an round of Brit-Pop Questions and a visual round focused on animals that appear on album covers.
